International fashion week agenda: men's shows kick off in Milan
The fashion carrousel will start spinning again when the men's prêt-à-porter collections for fall hit Milan's runways January 16.

The fall/winter 2010/11 collections will be showcased in European fashion capitals, with Milan starting the presentations and Paris following shortly thereafter. London's women's fashion week recently added a day specifically dedicated to men's fashion, while in New York, men's and women's ranges will be shown alongside each other in February.

Haute Couture

The world's leading haute couture week, which had been reserved for dramatic fashion shows presenting out-of-this-world creations by designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, or Chanel, will for the first time include jewelry presentations by some of the field's most prestigious brands such as Boucheron, Cartier, Chaumet, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Women's ready-to-wear
season starts February 11

Fashion season really kicks off with New York fashion week, followed by the less commercial but more cutting-edge London fashion week. Milan's well-established, luxury-focused event opens thereafter, and the industry's epicenter Paris will be wrapping things up in March.
