The German model kept her crown of 'Halloween Queen' this year after she dramatically transformed into Jessica Rabbit, but it took a lot of effort to recreate the curvaceous cartoon
Heidi Klum transformed into an amazing curvy Jessica Rabbit for Halloween, but it took days, an Oscar-winning make-up artist and a costume-designed gown.
The German supermodel and Project Runway host is known as the “Halloween Queen” and this year she hold to that crown after appearing at her annual party in New York in a real-life version of the voluptuous fictional character.
Klum spent over nine hours prior to the party in a prosthetics lab recreating the character’s face and curves - she teased fans with an Instagram post that suggested she’d dress up as Kim Kardashian, until a day later she revealed her flamed-haired cartoonised self.
To get the Roger Rabbit’s character’s distinctive look and hourglass shape, the 42-year-old model had a fake bottom and chest. She also wore a rubber mask with fake elongated eyelids, ears, thick lips and two-inch long lashes - all in a make-up transformation which reportedly took nine hours.
American luxury designer Christian Siriano made a costume beaded red hot gown for the recreation of the character. Klum teamed it up with matching hair and lips, and Christian Louboutin shoes; purple latex gloves and matching eye shadow over the rubber eyelids.
In the past Klum has amazed everyone dressed up as Cleopatra, Hindu goddess, a rainbow-hued butterfly and an aged version of herself.
