If you are thinking of applying for a post-graduate degree in America starting in Autumn 1998, you must take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) on November 1, 1997. To get an application form, send a covering letter and a A4-sized SAE with 70p postage to the Educational Advisory Service, The Fulbright Commission, 62 Doughty Street, London, WC1N 2LS. The deadline for applications is 19th September. It is also possible to sit the exam via computer on other dates at centres in London and Manchester.
