Days after the typhoon struck, the misery goes on for Philippines families without food, water or medicine while aid agencies wait to get staff into Tacloban, the regional capital of Leyte island, which bore the brunt of the storm.
While the widespread looting seen in the area has been curbed by military patrols and a curfew, the threat of violence remains and authorities are said to be considering introducing martial to stop the chaos.
