Love Island: Aftersun shows Amy Hart footage of moment Curtis says his head was turned

Former Love Island contestant Amy Hart made her debut on Question Time last night (30 September), prompting mixed reactions from viewers.

Hart, who is now an influencer, joined Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs Secretary George Eustice, Shadow Child Poverty Secretary Wes Streeting, journalist Ella Whelan and Confederation of British Industry president Karen Bilimoria on the latest episode of the programme.

During her appearance on the political debate show, the reality star called for police reform in the wake of the Sarah Everard murder case.

Many viewers were delighted with Hart’s contribution to the programme, with one fan tweeting: “amy hart is the kind of influencer we’ve been needing! she’s amazing.”

Another wrote: “Blimey..impressed with Amy..who knew? She wasn’t like this on Love Island. Very articulate and talking sense #bbcqt.”

To which Hart replied: “Or they just didn’t show those bits! Always been the same.”

Others, however, weren’t so pleased with the star’s appearance. One person posted: “Amy Hart bio on #bbcqt is influencer sums up everything that is wrong with this country.”

“And what actual qualifications does Amy Hart have?” added another. “Influencer & Love Island! FFS!”

Question Time was not Hart’s first foray into politics. She recently joined Labour leader Keir Starmer to discuss social media trolling at a Q&A with young people in Brighton.

Earlier this month, the 28-year-old told an inquiry into influencer culture that she did not believe platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram were supportive enough with regards to trolling.
