Season six of Game of Thrones is fast approaching and the internet’s excitement levels are growing by the second.

HBO are seemingly very happy to tease out the new season, at first releasing short clips with no new footage, followed by an almost two-minute trailer showing off Jon Snow’s dead body.

Thanks to a leak, the cable channel has released a new promotional clip and it is full of previously unseen footage.

Notably, Sansa is shown running through a forest, presumably still trying to leave behind her cold-hearted husband, while Brienne of Tarth is seen in a similar wooded area attacking someone/thing.

We also get a short shot of a giant breaking through a door (could this be from the big upcoming battle?) and The Night’s King – the crowned White Walker – standing in front of flames.

Unlike with most of the other Game of Thrones promotional material, Jon Snow doesn’t feature at all, not even as a corpse. It’s unlikely he’ll be resurrected anyway and that’s according to Melisandre herself.

If you’re keen to catch up on everything Game of Thrones season six, we’re got you covered with this 'everything we know so far' piece.
