Over the course of season three, Rick and Morty fans have caused quite a scene. Notably, some began attacking the female writers online, claiming they ‘ruined’ the show.

Creator Dan Harmon called out those harassers — some of whom even resorted to doxxing the writers(posting personal information about a person onto a public Internet forum).

However, those people make up a very, very small number of Rick and Morty fanbase. The majority of are just enjoying the turbulent ride through multiple dimensions.

One of those latter fans is Elon Musk, found of SpaceX, co-founder of Tesla, and 80th wealthiest person in the world. Posting on Twitter, Musk wrote of Rick and Morty: “Final episode was disgustingly good.”

What followed was a fantastically funny Twitter thread, the show’s account and Musk joking about the singularity, simulations, and partying with Stephen Hawking.

Glad to know the man hoping to send everyone into space and save the world has a wonderful sense of humour.

Meanwhile, thanks to Rick and Morty’s popularity, McDonald’s has brought back their now-famous Szechuan sauce, all thanks to the animated show.
