Donald Glover to reunite with Community cast for virtual table read and Q&A

Netflix announces new Tiger King aftershow

The cast of Community are set to reunite for a virtual table read and Q&A to benefit coronavirus relief efforts.

For the first time since leaving the show during its fifth season, Donald Gloverwho also performs as rapper Childish Gambino - will join his former cast mates Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong, for a virtual reunion over Zoom.

As reported by Variety, the ensemble cast will read through the season five episode “Cooperative Polygraphy”, which sees the gang deal with the death of their fellow student Pierce (Chevy Chase).

After performing the script, the cast will take part in a fan Q&A with creator Dan Harmon.

The event will be broadcast on the Community YouTube channel on Monday 18 May at 10pm UK time (2pm PST time), with fans asked to submit their questions on social media, tagging @CommunityTV and using the hashtag #AskCommunity.

Viewers are asked to donate to José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen or Frontline Foods, two US charities working to get food to key workers on the frontline in the battle against Covid-19. Sony will also donate to the charities.

Community ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015 and followed a mismatched group of mature students at a community college.
