A YEAR after the death of Diana and the mood is right for Desmond Dingle's not-wholly-respectful tribute to the marriage of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Love Upon the Throne tells the story of the Royal romance and refuses to shy away from its uncomfortable elements. A major hit on the Fringe in Edinburgh, this year, it was followed by a sell-out season at The Bush in London. "Highly entertaining and oddly moving," said our critic.
