On Thursday, the most blogged artists according to French electronic duo Justice, French alternative rock band Phoenix, and Baltimore-based indie duo Beach House, whose third album Teen Dream was released January 26.

The blogosphere is also buzzing about Caribou, the performing name for Canadian electronic musician Daniel Victor Snaith. The math Ph.D. has an album called Swim due out in April; the opening track, "Odessa," was released as a free download on January 25. Pigeons and Planes (pigeonsandplanes.com) calls the track "complicated medium-fi dance music for people with their heads in the clouds. Not a soul out there with the sound of Caribou."

Also making the list is The Tallest Man on Earth, the moniker for Swedish folk musician Kristian Matsson. The artist's label just released the track "King of Spain" from forthcoming album The Wild Hunt, set for an April release. Indie Music Filter (mobile.indiemusicfilter.com) says of Matsson, "Doing what he does best, simple yet commanding vocals with an acoustic guitar or banjo to accompany, this guy continues to write a true success story of an energetic, passionate songwriter whose music spreads with great word of mouth."
