Who are they? London Grammar, a trio who met in Nottingham as students are a unique and red hot band, recently winning an Ivor Novello award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for their famous single 'Strong'.

The band has received much attention due not only to the lead singer, Hannah Reid's chilling voice, but the other two band members' (multi-instrumentalist, Dot and guitarist, Dan) distinctive, melancholic sound. Often compared to the XX and Florence and the Machine, London Grammar have impressed many, with a growing fanbase, including Coldplay, who chose them as a support act.

When are they performing? London Grammar are performing on Sunday, on the John Peel Stage at 22:15, competing with Disclosure and Massive Attack, who are on at the same time. However, London Grammar are a band that one simply should not miss.

Why watch their set? They are not only three talented individuals with an album that peaked at number 2 in the UK, their live performances are filled with soul and passion and their set is so moving that John Peel would have shed a tear. Although there are only three of them, with the addition of strings in some songs, the sounds they make are incredible. Expect djembe, synths and more.
