The touring music festival, Lilith Fair, which highlights women musicians from around the world, will be resurrected in 2010, after a hiatus since its successful three-year run, 1997-1999. Co-founded by Sarah McLachlan, who will perform, Mary J. Blige will also headline the concert tour, scheduled for the summer.

Other artists joining the lineup include Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Colbie Caillat, Ke$ha, Indigo Girls, Emmylou Harris, Jill Scott, and Sugarland.

Lilith 2010 will visit North American cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, among others on the itinerary. It plans a two-week series of dates in Europe and the UK.

Emerging artists are part of the concert event and a local talent search via the website. Other musicians confirmed include Zee Avi of Malaysia, Corinne Bailey Rae, Miranda Lambert, Metric, The Weepies.

ABC Entertainment just signed on for a multimedia promotion online and for television programming.
