James Corden parody of Beyonce's Lemonade is not for the fainthearted

The Late Show host has managed to impress the internet without the companionship of a mega celebrity

James Cordon’s stint on the Late Show has lead to numerous headline-grabbing moments, particularly when it comes to his “carpool karaoke” segments.

This time, he’s managed to impress the internet without the companionship of a mega celebrity: instead just spoofing one.

In his latest monologue, Cordon mimicked the visuals of Beyoncé’s latest project, Lemonade, using the same chapter titles, imagery and wearing numerous wigs to impersonate the singer.

Cordon also pokes fun at his regular monologues, bringing up how he had to have the obligatory Trump joke plus a ‘truth bomb’.

Beyoncé recently released her latest album Lemonade onto Tidal and iTunes along with a ‘visual companion’ which aired on HBO.

Recently, the album has been made free to listen to via BBC iPlayer (although it has yet to reach Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services).

Meanwhile, Cordon jumped on another cultural phenomenon: Game of Thrones. The late night presenter appeared in the Hall of Faces alongside the likes of Emilia Clarke, Alfie Allen and Lena Headey.
