We’ve all hear about Beyonce at Glastonbury – but just because you missed the chance to roll in the mud on Worthy Farm, it doesn’t mean you’ve got to miss out. This year’s festival calendar is choc-a block with top acts to look out for – from Snoop Dogg at Lovebox to the Strokes at Reading. Here’s our pick of the best of the bunch. Stay tuned as we add to the list over the summer.

Pulp and The Strokes at Reading and Leeds Festival

Pulp have popped up all over this summer’s festival calendar – but they’re usually the headliners. The fact that they’re sharing the spotlight with The Strokes at the Reading and Leeds Festivals is evidence of just how strong this year’s line-up is. Catch them on Saturday 27 August at Reading and Sunday 28 August at Leeds.

The Arctic Monkeys at V festival

Despite rumours that they might put in a surprise appearance at Glastonbury, the Arctic Monkeys are playing relatively few festivals this year. Which makes their appearance at V festival that much more special. The only thing we can’t understand is why Plan B has been brought in to support.

Snoop Dogg @ Lovebox

Over here, rumour has it, to perform at Kate Moss’ wedding, the controversial rapper will be performing his classic 1993 album, Doggystyle, in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday 16 July.

Kanye West at the Big Chill

In an unusual coup for the Big Chill Festival, Kanye West has agreed to headline. It will be the American superstar’s only UK festival appearance, so make the most of it! Supported by Jessie J, he’ll appear on Saturday 6 August.
