Kanye West recently shared teasers to his upcoming summer album — tentatively titled Turbografx 16 — and revealed that he was allegedly pirating music software.

The outspoken Joel Zimmerman, whose stage name is deadmau5, called out West early Wednesday morning. He was also kind enough to ask that fans create a Kickstarter to fund West's production aspirations.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take West long to respond. Known for his particularly agile Twitter fingers, West asked Zimmerman about his signature mouse helmet and whether or not he'd be willing to perform a Tidal event for his two children.

It doesn't appear Zimmerman has responded, but The Independent has reached out to his reps for further comment.
