A change is coming to Fortnite.
Chapter 2 – Season 2 arrives in a couple of week’s time, and promises to bring some big changes to the popular battle royale multiplayer game.
The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 two has now lasted twice as long as people were expecting, as Season 2 has been subject to unplanned delays over the past four months. But finally, the end is in sight.

Players have speculated that the reason for the delays have to do with the new physics engine.
From Chapter 2 – Season 2 onwards, developers Epic Games have decided to switch to Unreal Engine’s Chaos engine, which could drastically affect Fortnite’s gameplay.
Supposedly, the extra time has been necessary to ensure a smooth transition between the two engines.

What are the changes in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2?
Epic Games has announced that the new season of Fortnite will include additional Overtime Challenges and a new two-week event.
Other than this, the company has refused to give anything substantial away, writing on their website: “Chapter 2 Season 2 will feature [redacted] with multiple [redacted]. We can’t brief you on all of next Season’s secrets just yet…”
What will the map look like?
Many online commenters have theorised about how the map will change for the next season.
A leaked photo – which has not been verified – seems to suggest that the “Slurpy Swamp” and “Misty Meadows” areas of the game will have been removed, along with the nuclear power plant at “Steamy Stacks”.
More details are sure to emerge as the Season 2 start date inches closer.
