Spider-Man Far From Home: Official teaser trailer

The first trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home has been released.

A sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, the film takes place after this year’s Avengers: Endgame, despite the character having supposedly disintegrated into ash during Avengers: Infinity War. It will be released in UK cinemas on 5 July 2019.

The film sees Tom Holland’s Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man) go on summer vacation to Europe with his friends. While abroad, he teams up with Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, to battle the Elementals.

Holland had previously dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to reveal Spider-Man’s new suit, now a black-and-red combo, as opposed to the traditional blue-and-red mix, with the spider logo on the chest area redesigned to look sleeker.

Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L Jackson, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Angourie Rice, and Hemky Madera all return for the film.
