Golden Globes 2015: List of nominations in full as Birdman leads with seven nods

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the awards for the third year running

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Birdman is in the running for a whopping seven Golden Globes this year, including best director and best screenplay.

Richard Linklater's Boyhood and The Imitation Game also look set to take home an award having earned five nominations each.

It has been a big year for biopics with The Theory of Everything (Stephen Hawking) and Selma (Martin Luther King) earning four Golden Globe nods apiece.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to host the 72nd annual awards for the third year on Sunday 11 January.

Voted for by The Hollywood Foreign Press, a collection of 85 largely freelance journalists, the Golden Globes often go on to predict the year’s Oscar winners.

Last year, the Golden Globes predicted the Oscar best picture winner 12 Years A Slave, with American Hustle picking up best musical or comedy.
