Avengers: Endgame - Trailer 2

An impressive Marvel fan theory is doing the rounds about the first of the studio’s six TV shows.

Over the coming year, the studio will be debuting its first official Marvel Cinematic Universe-canon shows on Disney Plus, with many more planned for the future.

First up was WandaVision and now The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently midway through its run.

One fan has looked at these shows, as well as the four set to follow, and has linked them with a convincing theory that sounds extremely plausible and is being approved by Marvel fans.

Reddit user xsupermonkeyboyx has wondered if all the shows could be connected via the Infinity Stones.

It was the ‘Loki’ trailer that prompted a theory fans are hailing as ‘brilliant’ (Marvel Studios)

The six Infinity Stones were the binding force of the first 22 MCU films, featuring throughout the different franchises until they were brought together in Avengers: Infinity War by Thanos (Josh Brolin).

These include the Reality Stone, the Power Stone, the Soul Stone, the Time Stone, the Mind Stone and the Space Stone.

It was after Thanos placed them all in the Infinity Gauntlet that he could then wipe out half the world from existence in what is now referred to as the Blip.

Prompted by the first trailer for Loki, the theory suggests that WandaVision – which starred Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany – could represent the Reality Stone, considering it saw Wanda Maximoff alter the world the residents of Westview lived in.

In other words, Wanda “literally changed reality”.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, with its plot focused on the super-soldier serum and the strength it brings, would link to the Power Stone.

Then there’s Loki, which will follow Tom Hiddleston’s villain on a time-hopping heist with a group known in the comics as the Time Variance Authority, making Time its Infinity Stone.

While the future shows are harder to predict, the theory suggests Hawkeye could correlate to the Soul Stone considering this was the Infinity Stone he was able to retrieve in Avengers: Endgame after Black Widow sacrificed herself.

Meanwhile, Secret Invasion – focusing on the Skrulls, intergalactic characters that have the ability to shape-shift – could be the Space Stone, which leaves Ms Marvel to be the Mind Stone.

Marvel fans have reacted extremely positively to this theory, with one writing:”Wait, this is brilliant.”

Another person added “Love the concept.”
