British Music Competition

ANDREW DAVIS will be signing discs at Farringdons Records at the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank on Monday 12 October after conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra in Elgar's The Kingdom. To mark the occasion, Farringdons and Warner Classics have given us some concert tickets and CDs from the 'British Line' series signed by Davis.

The winner of the competition will receive a pair of tickets to the concert plus signed copies of all five CDs in the series - Elgar's Symphony No 1 with Pomp and Circumstance Marches 1, 3 & 4; Elgar's Symphony No 2, In the South; Britten's Four Sea Interludes and Passacaglia from Peter Grimes, with Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge and The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra; Elgar's Cockaigne, Introduction and Allegro for strings, Serenade, and Enigma Variations; Vaughan Williams's Symphony No 6, The Lark Ascending, Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis (Tasmin Little, violin).

Five runners-up will get a pair of tickets and one of the five CDs.
