Vintage prints of the stars of Hollywood's 'Golden Age' will be on display at the National Portrait Gallery from 7 July.

A celebration of the career-defining images of Hollywood's stars, the Glamour of the Gods: Hollywood Portraits exhibition captivates the glitz and glamour of the 1920s through to the 1960s.

Featuring more than 70 photographs of stars such as Audrey Hepburn, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe, most of which are on display for the first time, the exhibition celebrates the portraits that transformed actors and actresses into international style icons.

The exhibition, organised by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, will be on display at the National Portrait Gallery, London, until 23 October.
