The fight contested between KSI and Logan Paul will be in the cruiserweight division, it has been revealed.
Two of YouTube’s biggest stars will be making their debuts in the professional ranks of boxing when they meet at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California on 9 November – a show promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing USA.
The duo, with a combined subscriber count of well over 40 million, fought to a controversial majority draw, meaning that KSI retained his “YouTube Championship Belt” after initially winning it against Brit rival Joe Weller.

With the fight breaking records online in terms of pay-per-view numbers last year, demand for a rematch was high and after bidding from a number of broadcasters, a deal was struck with Hearn, DAZN and Matchroom to stage the bout.
Speaking to the True Geordie podcast, KSI’s trainer and seasoned professional (he has a 2-0 record for those who can’t read sarcasm) Viddal Riley confirmed the weight that the fight would be contested at.
“It’s a cruiserweight maximum, so 90.7kg,” Riley said.
American lightweight Devin Haney is set to feature on the undercard for the November fight between the online giants – but only if he comes through his next bout unscathed.
WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders could also feature on the card, with a ‘welcome to Matchroom’ bout likely before he looks to unify the division against the likes of Callum Smith, Anthony Dirrell and Caleb Plant in early 2020.
