Arsenal‘s top-four hopes suffered yet another blow as Mikel Arteta’s side were held to a goalless draw by Burnley.

In a tense encounter, both sides failed to take advantage of their rare glimpses at goal, with Jay Rodriguez spurning a golden opportunity to snatch victory for Sean Dyche’s side.

With the clock running down, the striker’s header from point-blank range clattered off the bar, bounced down onto the line, but somehow stayed out of Bernd Leno’s net.

The result means Arsenal remain 10 points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, having drawn their last four Premier League matches, while Burnley are six points clear of the relegation zone and now undefeated in their last three.
