Premier League round-up: Liverpool maintain 100% record

The Premier League returns this weekend after the first international break of the season, with a number of players under the spotlight for a whole host of different reasons.

A series of players have questions to answer after middling performances for their respective nations – including Everton defender Michael Keane. Gareth Southgate selected Keane to start alongside Harry Maguire in both of England’s Euro 2020 qualifiers, only for the pair to both make disappointing individual errors.

Meanwhile, both Danny Welbeck and Ashley Barnes will come up against their former clubs this weekend, as Watford take on Arsenal and Brighton host Burnley, respectively.

Several different Premier League clubs are also experiencing early injury headaches, presenting a series of fringe players with a rare chance to stake their claim for a first-team place.

Here are the 20 players who are under the spotlight this weekend.
