The Reclaimed Tile Company was created, almost by accident, by husband and wife team Lee and Amelia Thornley, who transformed a farmhouse in Cadiz into one of Spain's best new hotels, Casa La Siesta. Spirit levels

Sophie Alice Wiltshire is a name to watch. Fresh from the Royal College of Art, she creates ceramics and illustrations from her studio in Winchester. Her naive art style owes a lot to the paper cut-outs of Rob Ryan but her subject matter – in this case the spirit collection at the Natural History Museum – is often darkly original. £12, bysaw.bigcartel.com
