Sardinian dairy farmers are pouring milk in the road to protest falling milk prices.

The farmers are paid around 60 cents per litre of milk, though they demand 70 cents.

The protests have so far been disruptive, even causing the Cagliari football team to miss a flight to their match against AC Milan by blocking them from leaving their training ground.

Italy's Agriculture Minister Gian Marco Centinaio has said that he and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte will travel on Monday "to reason together with the Sardinian farmers".
