British woman jailed in Bali for slapping official after missing flight
Auj-e Taqaddas claims video of attack has been edited, and plans to appeal sentence
A British woman has been jailed after she was caught on video slapping an immigration official in Bali after she missed her flight.
Auj-e Taqaddas was sentenced to six months in prison after footage of the confrontation was shared widely online last year.
She had missed her flight due to an expired visa.
The footage appears to show the 43-year-old throwing a lengthy tantrum after being asked to pay a fine of about £3,500 for overstaying.
She is then seen to slap the male official across the face.
