TV hypnotist convinces people he is naked first, then themselves
Five people thought they were naked in a London park – after running into a hypnotist.
Video evidence shows how Aaron Calvert convinced volunteers that he was naked, and then they were naked themselves, in the middle of the busy Soho Square Gardens.
"The reactions from the participants and the public were absolutely hilarious and so varied," he said. "From sheer confusion, through to pure hysterics, even hiding in a bush."
Victoria Bos said: "When I realised my clothes were gone, I curled up into a ball and dropped to the floor. I was actually more conscious of showing the world my bottom."
Stephen Berryman added: "I just wanted to cover Aaron up. It was the strangest feeling being naked in public and not something I would usually ever do."
The experiment was part of Vision Direct's Go Naked campaign, which encourages switching from glasses to contact lenses in summer months.
Cooking, gardening and vacuuming are among the things people regularly enjoy without any clothes on, a survey for the firm found.
The poll of 2,000 adults also revealed more than half were completely comfortable walking around naked in their own home.
One-third thought nothing of stripping off at the end of the day to have a bite to eat or drink a glass of wine.
