Facebook user claims to have 'fixed' NSFW Victoria's Secret photo following Photoshop backlash

The lingerie brand received backlash after posting the photo on their Facebook page

Following Facebook backlash over a Victoria’s Secret ‘#photoshopfail’, one user decided to take matters into their own hands.

Victoria’s Secret was criticised online after it posted an image of a model on its Facebook page, captioned: ‘Truly. Madly. Cheeky.’

However fans were quick to note that the model's body didn’t look quite right, alleging that the lingerie brand had doctored the image, and were not particularly successful in doing so.

The post still exists on the page, so one Facebook user changed it themselves, claiming to have ‘fixed’ the image.

The alteration has so far amassed over 2,000 Facebook ‘likes’ and fellow users praised the individual’s creativity, commenting: "They really should hire you for their Photoshopper" and observing that it looked "better than the original".

Victoria's Secret does not appear to have acnowleged the criticism, nor said whether the image was doctored.

The Independent has approached Victoria’s Secret for comment.
