Taylor Swift recently released new merchandise to commemorate her new single "Me!" but fans are just now noticing there is a typo on some of the clothes.
The mistake was first pointed out on Twitter, where a fan shared a photo of her pastel shirt emblazoned with the lyrics “Your’e the only one of you / baby that’s the fun of you” - in which the apostrophe is clearly misplaced.
“There’s a typo on the new Taylor Swift merch! So much for ‘Spelling is fun,’ am I right?” the fan wrote, referencing a lyric Swift sings in the new song.
The tweet prompted other fans to check their merchandise, with many finding the same punctuation error.
“EXCUSE ME! I’ve had this shirt for nearly a month and you’re telling me it’s had a typo THIS WHOLE TIME!!” one woman wrote.

Another said: “Haha I’ve had this Taylor Swift shirt for like a month & didn’t even notice the typo. Worst part? I spent like $55+ on a t-shirt with a typo on it.”
However, other fans are now speculating that the typo is actually a clue hinting at new music, or secret performances.
“You guys…what if the typo on the Taylor Swift merchandise is actually an Easter Egg?! Spelling may be fun but apparently spelling is also hard,” one person wrote.
Someone else tweeted: “Why is no one considering that this could be a clue? Because that was my first thought…”
Interestingly, the typo is not printed on all of the shirts sold as part of the limited-edition release.
Whether the error was intentional or not, the shirts in question are no longer available on the singer’s online store.
