Prince Harry and Royal Family arrive at wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor

Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in a ceremony on Saturday afternoon attended by the Queen, the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, Pippa Middleton.

Also in attendance were Michael and Carole Middleton and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.

The Duchess of Sussex, who gave birth to her first child with Prince Harry on Monday 6 May, was not present at the wedding.

Gabriella wore a lace gown by Italian designer Luisa Beccaria for the occasion.

The ceremony began at noon and was conducted by Dean of Windsor, the Right Rev David Conner.

The newlyweds went on to celebrate with a reception at Frogmore House, the same location where Harry and Meghan held their wedding dinner. Guests were served smoked Scottish salmon and asparagus risotto in addition to a number of canapes.

The couple got engaged in the summer of 2018 after having dated for several years.

Their nuptials mark the third royal wedding to take place within one year, preceded by Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. All three ceremonies were held at St George’s Chapel.

Gabriella, whose full name is Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor, is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin.

The 38-year-old works for digital communications and branding agency Branding Latin America, which is based in Knightsbridge, London.

Gabriella, known to friends as Ella, is also a board director for the Playing for Change Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports music education programmes for children in areas with limited in economic resources.

Kingston is a director at Devonport Capital, which specialises in supporting companies in emerging economies or post-conflict environments by providing access to expansion finance and liquidity-bridging solutions.

The 40-year-old is close friends with Middleton and attended her wedding to James Matthews in May 2017 with Gabriella.
