Whether it’s flying someone to Paris on a private jet or splashing oodles of cash on a personalised super car, celebrities do birthdays a little differently to the rest of us.
No one has demonstrated this more effectively than rapper Travis Scott , who marked the 22nd birthday of his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner , by filling the entirety of her Los Angeles mansion with roses.
To be clear, we’re not just talking a mere smattering of petals. A short video posted by Jenner on Instagram on Monday reveals that every inch of the floor of her home had been covered in scarlet blooms.
Jenner and Scott’s 17-month-old daughter, Stormi, happily plays among the petals in the background.
“My house is covered in ROSES!” Jenner wrote in the caption, adding: “ @travisscott and it’s not even my birthday yet!!!!! Omg”.

In actual fact, Jenner’s birthday is not for another few days – she will turn 22 on 10 August.
In the video, Jenner reveals a note from Scott that reads “Happy birthday!!! We’re just getting started. Love you!!!”
If this is how Scott begins the pre-birthday celebrations, who knows what the next few days could bring for Jenner.
It’s not the first time the 28-year-old musician has pulled such a stunt.
In November last year, Jenner came home to discover her stairs had been adorned with roses, though on this occasion the flowers were neatly confined within bouquets.
The reality TV star, who is also the youngest self-made billionaire thanks to her eponymous beauty brand, posted a video of her rose-covered stairway on Instagram alongside the caption: “Hell of a way to end the night”.
