Brad Pitt calls his personal life a 'disaster'-

Brad Pitt‘s personal life is a”disaster”, according to Brad Pitt.

Speaking on Marc Maron’s “WTF“ podcast, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star described himself as “trash mag fodder”.

Pitt’s comment came after Leonardo Dicaprio, who was a guest on the same podcast, revealed he doesn’t have as many paparazzi chasing him as he used to in his early career.

“I’ve been able to escape a lot more, which is great. And walk around and be outside and things like that.”

Pitt replied: “I’m a little disgruntled with you now that I hear that,” explaining that he still receives a lot of attention from the press.

“I’m just, like, trash mag fodder,” Pitt added. “I don’t know… because of my disaster of a personal life, probably.”

Pitt added that he has some “good getaways” to escape the paparazzi, but added he wouldn’t reveal any of them because “they’re still in play”.

The actor also referred to the media’s interest in his love life on Sunday evening when he accepted the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.

“I wanted to bring my mum, but I couldn’t because anyone I stand next to they say I’m dating,” he teased in his speech. “It’d just be awkward.”

Pitt has had two very public breakups over the course of his career.

In 2005, he split from Jennifer Aniston after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

The actor famously then dated Angelina Jolie after the two met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, which they started filming in 2004. Pitt and Jolie married in 2014 but separated in 2016. The couple have six children together, three of whom are adopted. Their divorce was finalised in April 2019.
