Reddit has stopped working, with pages fail to load and even error messages not showing.
Anyone heading to the vastly popular website will not be able to see anything, with the site failing to load at all and browsers just stuck whirring.
Eventually, the page may load and show an unhappy, crushed version of the site's alien logo.
"Our CDN was unable to reach our servers," the error page reads, in reference to the technology that normally serves up the web pages to users.
It then directs users to a special Reddit status website, which is intended to track whether the service is operational.

Show all 25But that site has a message claiming "All Systems Operational", despite thousands of reports of problems.
Live tracking graphs on the website do however show a huge leap in the number of issues being found.
The tracking website Down Detector, for instance, showed thousands of reports of issues.
They appeared to be particularly focused in the US and UK, but were being reported across the world.
