While Vans hail from sun-kissed southern California, their latest partnership lies with a brand more than used to their fair share of wet weather.

Teaming up with UK rainwear label London Undercover, the duo have put their climatological differences aside to bring us a punchy waterproof capsule collection.

Taking Vans’ Sk8-Hi Trek Cup LX silhouette, the British brolly experts worked to devise three graphic prints for the ultimate in wet-weather kicks.

A camo design is presented in both black and tan options while the classic Vans black and white checkerboard is reinvented with an abstract optical motif. Each pair is adorned with a vibrant orange sockliner and clean white sole.

They’re not just innovative in guise though, with an outer constructed from a combination of water-resistant suede and waterproof umbrella fabric and an added heat retention layer to keep feet warm and dry.

In addition to the three sneaker designs, the launch will also drop a small capsule of heavyweight umbrellas in prints to match the artful shoes.

The Vault by Vans x London Undercover collaboration releases globally at select Vans retailers from 24th October 2016. The signature footwear and umbrella assortment will also be available at the London Undercover flagship store and their website.
