Every bride wants to be the centre of attention on their wedding day, right?

If a princess-poofy white dress isn’t your vibe, you might want to consider one of the risqué gowns showcased at Paris Couture Fashion Week, where the crème de la crème of the industry exhibit their unique visions for bridal fashion this season.

If you consider yourself part-glamourpuss, part-nudist, then the ‘naked’ gown by French fashion house On Aura Tout Vu is the dress for you.

Something old, something new, something borrowed and no pants for you? (Rex Features)

The innovative frock was part of the designer’s bridal couture collection for spring summer and features a luxuriant jewelled bodice and a sheer ivory skirt that leaves very little to the imagination.

In fact, the only part of the body that is completely covered is the torso as even the sleeves are sheer.

The gown also happens to come with an opulent feathered headpiece, which could be just the ticket for those brides channelling a Game of Thrones aesthetic.

Just in case you still had your doubts that this dress would make you any less worthy than a mother of mythical creatures, the eccentric gown also comes complete with an obscenely long train for that little bit of extra sartorial splendour.

However, the extravagant train and rather obtuse headpiece might make things a little bit tricky when you have to dash off after the ceremony to tend to your dragons.

Daring it may be but at least you’ll be able to look back on your wedding day with a nostalgic fondness that you had it and boy did you flaunt it.
