October is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness and to mark it Rosie Huntinglton-Whiteley has unveiled her latest lingerie collection for Marks and Spencer with campaign featuring real-life survivors.

The 19-piece underwear range includes a post-surgery bra, the first in the model’s collaborations with the British retailer since working with them three years ago. The bra combines luxurious satin details and delicate lace, as seen on her previous ranges for the British retailer.

The 28-year-old British supermodel was pretty much involved in the production of the campaign, helping out her friend and photographer, Amanda de Cadenet, behind the scenes.

“It has been amazing to co-design and develop this range, and meet exceptional and inspirational women featured in our campaign,” she said.

The pieces are modelled by six women who have battled cancer and one young woman you lost her mother to the illness.

Ten per cent of the sales will be donated to Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity. The high-street giant aims to raise £13m over the next five years for the charity in a bid to prevent 9,000 cases of breast cancer a year by 2025.

The collection has also launched a social media campaign called #ShowYourStrap, encouraging supporters to pose with their bra straps on show and invite friends to donate £3 each to the cause via text. The hashtag has already seen a bunch of celebrities joining, including Ellie Goulding, Camilla Mackintosh and Maisie Williams.
