Jennifer Aniston has revealed her secret behind keeping her gown pristine and wrinkle-free for the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards on Sunday night.

The actor took home the award for best female actor in a drama show and for the occasion, wore a vintage ivory silk gown by Dior.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Morning Show star revealed she purchased the garment as a gift to herself.

“This is John Galliano for Christian Dior, this is a vintage dress that I sort of gave to myself as a present,” she said.

“This is an investment. These are designers that are working for particular houses – I only have a couple.”

In order to keep the prized gown free from wrinkles on her way to the award ceremony, Aniston revealed she had to lie down almost flat in the car.

The Friends actor shared a photograph of herself reclined in the car sear on Instagram alongside the caption: “No wrinkles... harder than it looks!”

Aniston shared a second photograph of the gown draped over a marble bathtub alongside her SAG Award.

“Somewhere between these two photos, my peers gave me a gift I will cherish and a night I will never forget,” the 50-year-old actor added in the caption. “Thank you @sagawards @themorningshow, and our increidble cast and crew. Let’s get back to work!”

Aniston’s post has garnered more than 4.7 million likes and thousands of comments from fans congratulating her on the accolade for her acting – and also for keeping her gown wrinkle-free.

“You are the definition of glamour, grace, beauty and adorableness. Congratulations!!!” wrote one person.

“Nailed it. Very proud,” added another.

A number of Aniston’s celebrity friends also commented, including actor David Spade, who teased: “You should put a dentist chair in the back seat. That’s what I do.”

Meanwhile, fellow Friends alumni Courtney Cox wrote: “So proud of you! And you’re gorgeous.”
