The rise of high street bridal collections means that women everywhere can now walk down the aisle in the dress of their dreams, regardless of their budget.

Currently, there are a whole host of options on the high street for price-conscious brides and, just like Asos, Whistles and Monsoon, French Connection’s latest collection is perfect for those who would prefer not splash the cash on a single gown.

A follow up to its debut launch in 2018, French Connection’s Spring 2019 offering is made up of entirely new dresses designed for the modern bride.

An eclectic capsule of both contemporary and classic clothes for brides and their bridesmaids, the range consists of 10 pieces including an update on last year’s Palermo gown, which was a best-seller.

For brides, there’s everything from classic floor-length silhouettes in delicate shades of white, to contemporary pieces that put an alternative spin on traditional wedding attire.

Building on the success of last season’s hand-embellished designs, Spring ‘19’s offering also includes three variations of intricate, hand-sewn beading and embroidery.

For brides-to-be that don’t like wearing dresses, French Connection has delivered a follow up to last season’s alternative bridal two-piece, with the Clandre Vintage Jumpsuit.

Featuring a delicate lace body and sleeves with vintage-inspired mushroom pleat frill and self-covered buttons, the all-in-one is a perfect choice for those looking for something a little different, or an evening outfit change.

There’s plenty on offer for bridesmaids too. With a soft sorbet colour palette of raspberry and lemon, the dresses perfectly complement the bridal designs and each dress features a unique decoration of its own; from floral embroidery to beads and delicate lace.

“After such a positive reaction from customers towards our debut bridal collection from last year we’re delighted to be launching a second capsule for 2019,” said Maria Chen, French Connection’s creative director.

“The essence of the collection retains its modern feminine French Connection identity, evolving the most popular designs”.

The latest collection launches on 18 February, but you can pre-order from “The Wedding Shop” online from 1 February.
