Asos has launched the second iteration of its partnership with LGBT+ charity Glaad – a media organisation that promotes acceptance – in celebration of Pride 2018.
Following the success of last year’s capsule collection, the duo have teamed up once more to bring customer’s a wider and more inclusive range.
A kaleidoscope of colour, this time the 22-piece collection is available in both plus and curve sizing, and comprises both apparel and accessories including bucket hats, T-shirts, tote bags and denim jackets.
Each piece features colours plucked from the Pride flag and is decorated with an ampersand motif to symbolise unity, equality and integrity.
“The ampersand represents the power of our voices together,” reads a description of the campaign on Glaad’s Together webpage.
“We must stand in unity and resist the forces that seek to divide us. All of us. Because no one is just one identity, and many of us are under attack.”
To coincide with its inclusive messaging, Asos and Glaad cast models across the gender-identity and sexuality spectrum to front its campaign including 13 Reasons Why star Tommy Dorfman and Rupaul’s Drag Race contestant Pearl.
Additional talent taking part in the project includes Ari Fitz, Chella Man, Darius Moreno, Elizabeth De La Piedra, Elizabeth Wirija, Quil Lemons, Rai Flowers and Trey Campbell.
With both brands aligning their core beliefs, Asos and Glaad hope that the campaign will represent the power of people’s voices together to accelerate acceptance for all.
