Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard has revealed that he “wouldn’t rule out” dating a man in the future.

The professional dancer, who came fourth in the fifth series of the show with his partner Maura Higgins, opened up about his sexuality in a recent interview with The Sun.

Pritchard said he would be open to having a same-sex relationship, adding that he believes "love is blind" and doesn’t like to use labels when it comes to sexuality.

“I’ve been with women and I’m with a woman now,” Pritchard said.

“You can never put a label on anything.”

He added: “It’s a cliche to say, but love is blind.

“I can never ever say what will happen in the future… I wouldn’t rule anything out.”

Pritchard also admitted that he sought help from Love Island producers after his break-up with fellow contestant Amy Hart.

The 23-year-old featured initially pursued a romance with 26-year-old flight attendant Hart.

However, the couple later parted after Pritchard decided to end their relationship after admitting he was interested in pursuing other romances in the villa. Hart decided to leave the villa as a result of the split.

“As well as going to the boys for advice and help, I went to the welfare team,” Pritchard said of their split.

“It was good to be able to talk to somebody off mic and get your feelings out and off my chest. It really helped me, especially those days during my split from Amy."

Pritchard later coupled-up with Maura Higgins and the pair finished in fourth place together. They have remained in a couple since leaving the villa and Pritchard recently travelled to Ireland to be introduced to Higgins' friends and family.

Earlier this year, Pritchard’s brother, AJ Pritchard, also revealed that doesn’t label his sexuality.

Speaking to Gay Times, the Strictly Come Dancing star said: “For me, it has always been about being happy in that time.

“You never know how times will change in where you are in your life. But it is always about being happy and being true to yourself.

“Everybody always wants to have that label which is not always necessary."
