From glossy corals to hot tomato reds and sheer neon pinks, this season's lip is bold and bright. And if that all sounds a little daunting, beautiful matte and glossy nudes are also in for spring summer 2015. Here's our edit.

1. Daniel Sandler Super Gloss in Super Pomegranate: £10 for 11.4g, danielsandler.com

You'd think finding the perfect gloss would be easy, but so many are too sticky, too fragranced or too highly coloured. This little gem landed on my desk recently and it out-performs most of the glosses I've tried recently. It glides on like a dream, is barely scented, not at all sticky (but still ultra-glossy and plumping), and stays put for a remarkably long time despite being a gloss.

2. Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Sheer Anarchy, Sheer Slowburn and Sheer Liar: £15.50 for 2.8g, urbandecay.co.uk

Luxuriously creamy, with sheer pigmented colour, this high-shine lippie combines creamy and rich with high shine and delicate colour. Nourishing jojoba, olive and babassu oils and antioxidants vitamin C and E take care of lips, while the added bonus of 'Maxi-Lip' plumps up your pout and makes it look fuller. We were hard pressed to choose the best one out of the 10 new shades, so we settled on three. ‘Sheer Liar is the most perfect nude I've ever worn, ‘Sheer Anarchy’ is this season's hot fuchsia (but in an easy to wear sheer version), while ‘Sheer Slowburn’ is a tomato red that suits all skintones.

6. Shiseido Veiled Rouge in Carnevale: £19.50 for 2.2g, feelunique.com

Unique to Shiseido, their 'veiling pearl' is a light oil that spreads over the lips on application, locking in pigment and leaving long-lasting colour and shine. I love the subtle and understated pop of colour you get with these 8 new shades, while the collagen and hyaluronic acid plump and hydrate throughout the day.
