RuPaul calls for performers to audition for UK version of Drag Race TV series

The line-up for the first ever series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has been announced, with Baga Chipz and Gothy Kendoll among the ten queens set to star.

After his show became a cult phenomenon in the US, RuPaul is launching a hotly-anticipated UK version of Drag Race on BBC Three in October.

The ten queens competing to be crowned Drag Race Superstar will be: Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, Crystal, Cheryl Hole, Divina De Campo, Gothy Kendoll, Sum Ting Wong, Scaredy Kat, The Vivienne and Vinegar Strokes.

RuPaul said: “Each of the UK queens is so unique, so courageous and so special. I can’t wait for the UK – and the world – to fall in love with them the same way I did.”

In the UK series, RuPaul will be joined by Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton on the judging panel, while celebrity guest judges include Andrew Garfield and Maisie Williams.
