Love Island: Connor and Callum's heartbeats raced most by new girl

Love Island viewers are getting quite frustrated with the ITV2 show over choosing contestants with the same name.

In the preview for tonight’s episode (23 January), fans were introduced to two new men, both of whom are called Luke.

Earlier this week, the show introduced Connagh, which despite being spelt differently, is pronounced the same as Connor – the name of another contestant.

“Why have they all got the same names?” one viewer tweeted, with another adding: “What point are the directors of Love Island trying to prove by bringing in all these boys WITH THE SAME NAMES.”

Another viewer named Dina pre-empted what could be one hell of an awkward twist in a future episode.

“If the girls choose the recoupling and Sophie picks Connor or Connagh, that would be bare awks because how would they know which one she’s on about.”

Quite true, Dina.

These were not the only people left worried about being confused by the same names.

Love Island continues nightly on ITV2 at 9pm.
