Ant McPartlin arrives at court

The start date for the 2019 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has been confirmed by ITV.

It will return to screens on Sunday 17 November on ITV, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

The new series marks McPartlin’s return to the show after he was replaced by Holly Willoughby in 2018 following his conviction for drink-driving and his decision to take a break from TV commitments.

In April of last year, McPartlin was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months after pleading to guilty to crashing his car while exceeding twice the alcohol limit. The presenter was also diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) after the crash occurred.

Celebrities such as Kate Garraway, Richard Madeley, Blue singer Duncan James and Love Island star Amy Hart are rumoured to be joining this year's line-up.

Last year’s series of I’m a Celebrity scored the show’s most-watched final episode in five years as millions tuned in to watch former football manager Harry Redknapp be crowned king of the jungle.
