Joe Pesci in new Home Alone-themed Google advert

Following Macaulay Culkin‘s return as Kevin McCallister over the Christmas break for a Google advert, Joe Pesci has returned as his Home Alone character Harry.

The new, very meta advert sees Pesci watching the original Google advert as it plays during the Super Bowl.

As Culkin appears on screen, Pesci laughs along with friends, saying at one point “I love this”.

Toward the end of the advert, the actor gets everyone to quieten down before his big line: “We better get out of here before somebody sees us.”

The advert, for Google‘s home assistant, features almost the entirety of the Christmas-released one – including Culkin bouncing on his bed, playing a scene from the fictional Angels with Filthy Souls, and eats a large bowl of ice cream while sitting in front of the television.

Pesci – who is also well known for his roles in My Cousin Vinny, the Lethal Weapon films and Goodfellas – will next appear on the Martin Scorsese-directed The Irishman.
