The Apprentice: Lottie Lion fired

Former Apprentice candidates Lottie Lion and Ryan-Mark Parsons have become embroiled in an argument over signed photos.

The pair, who competed in the 2019 series of the reality contest, began bickering after Lion uploaded a photo to her Instagram story and told her followers she would never request money for posing with fans.

This appeared to be a dig at her former co-star, who recently began taking requests for personalised video messages and signed photos.

“I have been asked if I charge for signed photographs and videos, the answer is NO,” Lion said. “I would never charge my followers who support me for something as simple and cheap, and see it as a way to say thank you to you all (sic).

“I think it is sad to profit off those who encourage you on a daily basis,” she continued. “If you have asked me for a video or photo, know that you have been placed in a list and every week I pick three people at random and then send them out.

“Let us share the love and appreciation rather than charge for it.”

However, Parsons then shared a screenshot purporting to be an exchange with Lion, in which she appeared to admit to charging a fan £20 for a signed photo.

“In response to Lottie Lion’s false claims on Instagram. Here is the proof that she is a pathological liar,” he wrote.

The Apprentice 2019 was won by artisan bakery owner Carina Lepore.
