A genuine treat. LA Turnaround was recorded soon after the final demise of Pentangle in 1973, produced (by former Monkee Mike Nesmith) for the "progressive" label Charisma.

It now makes its first ever appearance on CD and should be bought by anyone who has ever felt frustrated by the determined tonal insularity of the English folk revival – this has American warmth in its blood to go with the mist and dew. Plus American players. "The Blacksmith" is one of the miracles of the genre.
