Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y release joint project 2009: Tracklist, features and streaming

New project is comprised of 14 tracks and includes guest spots from Problem and TY

Four years ago, Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y announced a joint project, 2009. As of last night, the wait is finally over, and fans can stream it in full on Spotify and Apple Music.

With the title referencing the year How Fly was released, the project is comprised of 14 tracks and includes guest spots from Problem and TY Dolla $ign.

Monstabeatz, Harry Fraud, Naika Beats, Cardo and DJ Fresh, among others, handled production.

Wiz and Curren$y released their last major project together about 10 years ago. Their work together has included How Fly, and Cush & OJ, with a Live in Concert EP released in 2013.

The pair are embarking on a tour of North America in support of the record from this weekend.

Wiz is also preparing to release a deluxe version of Rolling Papers 2 in addition to a new solo album later this year.

“I said that I was going to do an R&B album,” he told LA Leakers, “but I think I’m just going to drop some like dope ass player s**t.”
