The Killers have announced a new album, Imploding the Mirage, and a stadium tour for 2020.

The news follows their headline set at Glastonbury Festival this year. They will joined on tour at select shows by special guests Blossoms, Sam Fender and Manic Street Preachers.

Imploding the Mirage will be their sixth album, after 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful. Tickets to the tour will be on sale here at 9am on Friday 22 November.

See the full dates for the tour, below:

28 May – The Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk
30 May – Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester
1 June – Carrow Road Stadium, Norwich
3 June – St Mary's Stadium, Southampton
6 June – Emirates Stadium, London
9 June – Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol
11 June – Coventry Ricoh Stadium, Coventry
13 June – Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough
16 June – Malahide Castle, Dublin

Frontman Brandon Flowers told NME earlier this year that the band had been recording the new album in Utah.

“That’s where I fell in love with music for the first time, so it’s interesting to be there again and hear some of that music with the geography matching the sensation.

“Some of that stuff is starting to resurface and a lot of that had to do with synthesiser music,” he added. “It’s always been part of our DNA but it’s definitely creeping up.”
